Default APR Stage 1 & 2 for 3.0T

So I just wanted to reignite an old thread in light of APR's winter sale and get the opinion of any owners who have this installed, Pros and Cons (besides the obvious warranty void), of adding both Stage 1 ECU and Stage 2 Pulley upgrades.

How would the extra HP/Torque affect the stock frame/chassis/motor mounts etc? I should note that I don't plan on taking it to the race track so it shouldn't go through any abnormal abuse other than normal commuting...merging onto interstate ramps and amplifying the "thrill factor".

My biggest (and probably only) complaint with the 3.0T so far is the jerky 1st-3rd gear shifting. Would these upgrades "smooth" this out?

With normal driving, will there be any MPG gain?

Thanks for your insights!

I am getting a 3.0T gas model soon. I have not heard of the jerky shifts. Is this a common problem, and if so what if any fixes?
I also would like for emergencies more from the engine and higher top speed. Not having a warranty sounds bad to me though.

I had the herky/jerky transmission issue for the first 1500 miles on my 2.0T. I finally took it in a few weeks back to have the transmission adaptation software reset. It has been much better so far... only a few instances of mild lurching during acceleration in low gear. Fingers crossed it sticks. I am actually starting to like my Q now.
