Has anyone else experienced this, it is pretty annoying,. When listening to FM HD stations, the artist and song info that displays while the station is on does not update when the songs change. It stays the same until you change the station. When you go back, the correct info pops up.
It is actually so bad that when I program the stations into presets, instead of station names/letters I sometimes get the song that played at the time I programmed the station. It just stays there.
Any way to fix this? Does the software need to be updated?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I cant say that I had the exact same issue. However, I was immediately unhappy with HD radio in my new Q5. The HD option would not show up right away for some stations. There were intermittent pauses (most annoying) and station info and artist were not always correct. I didn't see an advantage to HD so i turned it off.

As a note. I got a copy of the dealer checklist mixed in with my paperwork. Verify HD radio is turned OFF was one of the items to check...

Works fine here.
Not every station transmits song info unfortunately.
Some do transmit it on FM via RDS, but not on HD for some reason.

That is correct, not ecvery station transmits it, but I am taliking about the ones that do. If a song plays that and a given station transmits the info, this info pops up on the display and does not change with subsequent songs, however, when you skip to the next station and then back to the station you just listened to, the info gets updated then. So the information is being transmitted, just not updated by the radio. And that is a problem.
