Default Attaching front license plate?
Does anyone know how to put the front license plate on? I have the correct piece on the grill, but the top holes do not match and are not threaded. Thanks in advance for any insight.

In my case, the dealer drilled straight into the license plate holder with a screw... which made me cringe and decided to go plateless lol....

Same here. My plate is just screwed right into the plastic license plate holder. That doesn't seem very Audi-like.

Yup, just drill straight into the plate holder. That's what it's for, so you don't have to drill into your bumper like we used to do back in the day.

The odd thing though is that the holder piece has pre-molded holes that doesn't work with US spec plates... I really wonder what they're for.

Even weirder is, the holes on the rear plate holder line up perfectly. It's only the front holes that are spaced incorrectly.
