I had the new 2016 Audi Q5 for just 2 months, the Audi connect was working fine until a week ago. No data connection even though the 3G signal was excellent. So I called Audi connect support, they had me reset to factory default. That didn't work out. They had me reset it by pressing 3 bottom (upper right, center and menu) at same time to no avail. So they told me to bring the car to dealership. At the dealership, replace the SIM card. They told me to wait an hour an half to get it activated. After an hour and half no 3G signal on the screen. I called the dealership, I was told to wait a day and that a ticket was open for my issue. The next they still no connection. I will have to bring the car back to the dealership.

Does anybody else have the same issue with Audi connect as me?

When I first got my 2014 SQ5 I had to replace the SIM initially to get a connection. The new SIM worked fine, though. Two bad SIM's sounds like some other problem, but.....

do you have problems with both Audi Connect and google maps?
ie. can you view satellite view of the maps but not get to online destinations, weather, news, etc.?

Yes. No satellite view. I can't connect to anything on the internet. I got no 3G signal on the screen. I was able to setup the wifi and then connect my phone, but can't connect to the internet. Data usage is zero. I was told to bring the car back to the dealer. Let's see what happens next.
