Looking for some direction as to how I can resolve an issue with a blower motor on my 2010 Q5. It was working on and off for few months and has now totally stopped. When working there was a faint sound coming from it. Dealer quoted over $1200 to repair (basically replace motor and controller). I have seen web sites which suggest simply replacing brushes on motor so I purchased the brushes on line for $15. I was about to start accessing the motor and taking it apart. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
