Regarding wheel choice and TPMS, here are some details.
1. TPMS on the AUDI does not require sensors. It is done purely by software that detects an underinflated tire via rotation averages. The wheel rpm sensors (part of the traction control system) provide the input for this calcuation.

Does anyone know the following information for the Audi Q5 Premium wheels:
Bolt Pattern:
Tire/Rim Width:
Offset:
Also which measurements really matter etc. I upgraded to the 19" rims from Audi as my standard rim, but am looking for a 20" summer rim, so I think I need to know these measurements.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,

This prevented any warning lights or codes showing up over the winter.
Now that I have returned to my summer 20's I have to reset the system.

I'm looking at putting on Hartmann 20" rims. They are 20x9 with 255/45-20 tires. My question is this.... the offset is 40mm. Hartmann guys tell me that it's no problem, fit-wise. What do you guys think? Am I going to be okay with this offset?

This is a good tool to start with to see what is comparative..
I bought my 20x9 Hartmann with the ET25 offset to fill out the fenders a bit.. The ET25 keeps the strut clearance relatively the same as factory 18x8 wheels within ~1mm and the extra inch of wheel will push out the wheel face.... IMO for a better wider look.

According to the "wheel/tire size comparer light", the 20x9 wheels w/40mm offset will push the tire out about 1/4" more than my current setup (18x8 wheels).

I bought a set of convex ace wheels for my '09 Q5. Specs are 20x10 et 40. Doing the math, the wheels should stick out the same as a 20x9 et25 wheel, however that means that will decrease my inner clearance...
Does anyone have a similar setup?
