Like our Q5, but the SRX would have been just fine for my wife if it was available, and it's a great looking vehicle!

Default Caddy should have built the SRX in the US

Cadillac could and should have done its part too, and made the SRX in the United States instead of Mexico. If you haven't noticed, there are plenty of idle assembly plants right here in the US.

Sometimes buying German or Japanese is more American that buying American.

Mexico = cheaper labor + no unions = bigger profits

Yes, the does seem to be the American way (profits). At the same time they're making their wallets fatter, they're taking jobs away from people HERE who need them.

The SRX was on our list when we were shopping for a SUV. My wife like the look but I thought it had two many sharp angles. The SRX is definitely bigger, but we thought the Q5 handle better. We didnt hear any rattles in the SRX in our test drive, but then we really didnt push the SRX hard, but we thought the Q5 is better built. The big turn off was a $50000 SUV built in Mexico, there is no way I can justify that.
