One nice point on the Q7 that sold us was the latch system in the 3rd row. I don't see us ever putting an infant back there, but now that our first is old enough to get into her seat and buckle in on her own I could see her and her older cousin in the 3rd row for sure.[/QUOTE]

I have seen lots of 3rd row seats and as for me, unless it were for a real quick trip, I would never consider using them...they'd just be way too close to the tail of the car in case of a rear end accident.

Agreed! I had no problems in an Acura CL type-S coupe with a car seat (plenty of room once the front seats motored their way forward) and all the stuff in the trunk. My Q5 is cavernous compared to that CL.

When I travel with all 3 we take the Oddy, need to keep a 2 foot buffer around all kids
