Default Black SQ5 with Matte Powdercoat Stock 21s?

I'm considering a matte powdercoat on the stock 21s, but am concerned this may be too much black! Anyone have a photo? I've searched forever to no avail...

IMHO it’s a bit of overkill unless you’re really into the murdered out look. I’d suggest even then going with at least a satin finish. Matte black finishes on wheels can look kind of cheap, almost like steel wheels from a distance.

Here’s a black SQ5 with dipped satin black 21s. You might want to consider dipping so you can remove it if you don’t like it.

I love how it looks minus the rims being done. I'd rather not do the rims on that one.

That is a nice look if yours is Brilliant Black. My SQ5 is Phantom Black Pearl so I'm partial to my factory 21s

Thanks Riceboy, that is exactly what I was looking for. Good point on the matte vs satin finish as well I would tend to agree.

Still on the fence about this whole thing. My wife is against it so I'm naturally inclined go murdered out, badges and all.

LOL well I'd give the plastidip a shot then. It's durable but not permanent, so if you don't like it you can always peel it off (takes goo gone and a bit of elbow grease). It held up through the winter with no problem for me.
