2013 prices are at dealers and on line. I especially wanted the side assist, and hoped for a heads up display availability. I would have to oder s 2013 Pretige, with the 3.0 engine, with no heads up display available, to get the Side Assist. The Q5 would end up at around $55,000.00 plus.
I have a 2011 Premium Plus 2.0 with 15,000 mi which might bring me a reduction in cost of lease, since it is worth more than I owe, on the retail market.
My wife has a new 2013 BMW 3 Series, with all the latest technology, including heads up display, and side assist. I like the Audi, but not enough to be forced to spend that much, because Audi will not make side assist available, even as an option, in cars under the Prestige. I don't like to be forced to go the route of a Prestige. I will not lease/buy the 2013 which is the same vehicle as my 2011, with a bit of a refresh, and more leather colors. I think that the Audi Merchandising people need to recognise that there are other brands on the market, at far less price, that offer more, especially if you believe you will be a leasee as opposed to a buyer.
