Have you had any service as of lately? Sometimes oil could be spilled on the outside of the engine and it burns off and that could be what you are smelling. I would pop the hood and take a looksie. See if it all looks clean. Spilled oil tends to attract dust very quickly. Check for leaks while the car is running with the hood up (and emergency brake on).
Are you getting any low oil indicators?

Someone mentioned to me that new exhaust systems often smell when brand new (new metal, getting hot). Same with brakes. But these smells should not last and after a couple of good drives you should not smell anything. Take it to the dealer if it persists.

I recall our '12 had that smell after driving during the first week or so - dealer said it was anti-corrosion coating for the ocean crossing.

Just the smell of Audi's. I think it is because all the undercoating and plastic cladding underneath holds in all the smells from the engine. My S5 smelled that way for the entire four year ownership. I was under the car all the time and never saw a oil leak. My SQ5 is somewhat the same but not as bad. ZERO OIL LEAKS.
