Hey all, I have a friend with a C&C machine who makes pulleys and parts for his Corvette. I was thinking about what I can make for the Q5 out of alluminum but can't think of anything... any one have any cool ideas?

Thx HBDWT. I'll look for that thread to see if they described anything or have pictures. I can't draw myself but maybe i'll try and photophop some ideas. I was also thinking about custom aluminum step guards (not sure if that's what they are called, inside the door on the lip) similar to what the S-Line has. Again will photoshop some ideas.

So I did a quick search and couldnt find the post on the shifter ask. Off hand looking at mine this morning I'm thinking a nice brushed aluminum to match the other highlights in the Q5. Maybe have the S-Line accross the top as well to add flair! . Again, I'll see if I can figure out photoshop and if I like the look mayby pull mine off to measure and make one ... I'll keep everyone posted. Feel free to send me any ideas you might have ...

I like the idea of the look of Aluminum pedals but the slip factor does scare me a little. I supposed I can cut in like diamond plate (I think that's what it's called) to allow for grip.
