Default Can you turn off rain sensor logic with CAR menu?

In manual it is said that in some regions one can disable rain sensor logic via CAR menu and just use control on top of right stalk to control pause between the wipes. Do you guys have this option in your CAR menu? Trying to figure out which VCDS setting controls it.

On my 2013 P+ with Nav, it's on the car menu. I changed it from "off" to "on" just the other day.

and has coding 02005C. VCDS knows nothing about coding this module. Since byte 0 is 02 as for pre-2013, I changed its bit 6 to 1 and tried - no luck. It is very likely that function of deciding whether to rely on rain sensor or use fixed pause has moved to different module (like the root 09 module - central electric). Just looked in teh manual and it says that it is possible to adjust this setting only via MMI, so definitely in 2013 something changed around this functionality.

Yes, I looked the manual more carefully and found that one needs to have MMI to be able to control this feature out of the box, so it is not so easy... But I'm not actually looking how to control it, I just want to disable rain sensor forever.

Do you have the latest beta version of VCDS? It may contain info on the newest model year's modules...

Yes, newest data in VCDS. Still seems to be missing quite a lot. I have posted here a solution to engine off when door is opened and driver's seatbelt is unlocked (module 46, last byte change from 0F to 00) - got it on motor-talk.de forum, VCDS still does not know about this byte. Wondering how motor-talk.de guys got this information.

Another sort of annoying "feature" I found with the wipers is that the rain sensor function does not activate until you get above 8 or 9 mph like the door locks and #1 trip computer reset etc. So if there's rain or snow on the windshield after the car sits for a while, I have to manually clear it by turning the wipers on before starting out or just drive blind until it gets up to speed and kicks in by itself. No big deal really but it seems to me that an automated system like this should start working if necessary whether or not the car is moving. Anyone know of a VCDS setting to change this or why it's set up like this in the first place? My 2011 did the same thing.
