Color question
I really do not like Audi's ice Silver. It is to washed out for me (no disrespect to those who like it!). In order to be happy with my color choice I am considering opting for a custom color job. Is there an Audi silver that is a darker more lustrous silver?
Quartz Grey might be close but it seems less metallic and silverish then I would like. So basically is there a color on the Audi color list between Quartz Grey and Ice Silver? I see on the car builder for other models there is a monza silver, where does it fit in color wise with the others?. I do not trust the AudiUSA car builder to represent the colors very well, especially not things as subtle as shades of grey or silver. Can anyone advise me here?
I know that at least one poster here put up pics of his Quartz grey but it seemed like those pics were on a gloomy day and it was a bit hard to really see the color. It is quite possible I will not get clsoer to what I want then the Quartz grey but I would like to make sure.

The Audi of America website is terrible at accurately representing colors.
I agree that Ice Silver is a pretty light shade. Quartz Gray is not too dark but it really isn't silver either.
Avus Silver is a very nice color that might suit your tastes. Of course you would have to pay $2500 for the privilege of getting it.

Yes I saw yours and it is very nice without doubt. The Daytona and the Meteor Grey are both very nice , but definately "Grey". Correct me if I am wrong but the Daytona is darker then the Quartz Grey I think I am trying to go the other direction. I am still aiming for a "Silver" but the Ice silver is to pale and washed out for my taste.
I called my dealer and they have some quartz grey on other models of Audis on the lot so I will go look at it and see if I like it well enough.
