I have this theory that beautifully sculptured cars look better in lighter or brighter colors, and that less endowed cars look best in black. Envision a red or canary yellow Ferrari, or even a white or silver version, and then compare that to a black one. My last 3 cars were black (drive train trumped good looks), but I definitely would not get a black Ferrari even if I had the cash. So where's the Q5 in all this? If it were a 911 Carrera, maybe it would be white, but most likely silver. Silver is the most common car color, and yet I would feel very “special” riding around in a silver 911 if I had the cash for one. I intend to spend some quality time at the Audi dealership lot without the salesman buzzing in my
ear before I decide on exterior/interior colors, but what are your thoughts on this? Also, the SQ5 will come in estoril blue, crystal effect, which apparently is popular in Germany. Anyone actually see an SQ5 in this color, possibly at an auto show?
Thanks

Here is the SQ5 in Estoril Blue. Looks sharp but probably tough to keep looking clean.

I'm hoping to see it at the NY Auto show next week. I'll see if I can take some close-ups of the interior and engine and post.
I'm biased towards Silver as it is common, stays clean looking and the wife loves the color. Then again the S5 looks good in any color, as the color may be common but the car is not.
