Concealed Radar Detector
Hate to say this but I was busted twice in last 15 days. Yet to know the amount I will be losing for both. So, I want to get a Radar/Laser Detector and want to conceal. What is the most recommended model so far for best performance? This seems interesting to me and I'm yet to compare the functionalities and other stuff to V1/Escort.

Just want to check with you'all at AudiNation with your installs.
TIA

Escort makes a few, the range is pretty much the same without the arrows. They have GPS models which are cool and seem convenient I aslo hear they false less. They do have built in ones but the range isn't as good and they are pricey. Your best bet is to get a Valentine V1, I and other members highly recommend it.
Give it a 30 day trial, I did before a road trip and couldn't give it back.

Good luck!

We have four V1's in our family now.
I've given 2 older (updated) units to my sons. My daughter and her husband, unfortunately, are on their own (I think they bought a cheapie unit at Costco).
I have one that I switch between the 3 cars I regularly drive. When my wife got her Q5 2 years ago she wanted one also. Don't leave home without it!

I have the beltronics sti-r plus concealed and the laser interceptor. Bought the combo online from the laser interceptor usa site and installed myself. Yes it is expensive but consdering it cost me $750 for the lawyer to get out of the last ticket its a no brainer. Ill try to take some pics this weekend. I think youd be hard pressed to find better coverage. Laser detectors are useless.. if its going off your already busted. Saved my *ss several times so far.

I own 4 Valentines, one in each vehicle and two in my motos. The moto ones are concealed, the ones in the Audis are hard wired up high on the windshield next to the mirror.
I've been running radar detectors my entire life, started out using Bels for about 10 years. They would last a little over a year and then they would quit working right, so I'd end up upgrading to a new one. They were CRAP and it was a scam IMO.
Then I switched over to using multiple V-1's for about 20 years now and only had one go out of adjustment. Valentine fixed it for free.
I attribute 28 YEARS TICKET-FREE and accident-free to these units. They not only save tickets, but they make you pay attention to driving which is sorely needed by many (most?) drivers nowadays.
Valentines will false a good bit but like they say in the military, KNOW ALL THREATS. I'd rather have it that way than have it miss one and get nabbed. And of course the arrows are indispensable. Just try using a non-V-1 after becoming spoiled by a V-1 and it's like, "how in the Sam He!! are we supposed to know where the threat is"?
In my cars I have Lidatek LE-30 laser jammers and believe me, they work the treat. The target area on the motos are very small so I don't bother with jammers on them. They have saved me 4-5 times in surprise laser-tag speed traps with LEO in the trees standing by his car, the laser gun resting on the hood or roof. Once I was going at least 20 over in a 40mph zone after nailing it from the light and the cop had the most puzzled look on his face it was priceless!
