Default Confirmed Carbonio intake for A4 & A5 fits Q5

I had initially talked to APR who said that the A4 2.0 Carbonio intake wouldn't fit a Q5. I then went to 034 Motorsports and asked them to see if they can install it. Their tech said that it would require some modifications and more work then he wanted to attempt. So I picked up the intake from them and took it to my install guy. Who did install it for me, said it was straight drop in although it did utilize some pieces from the stock intake. He did the whole job in about 15 minutes. Here are some pics also a pic of the part number sticker for the part.

Nice! Did he note which stock parts were needed for proper fitment? I seem to recall that the Carbonios got a revision to include an additional bracket to keep it in place.

I would also like to know which stock parts are re-used. Also, assuming you have no other mods, are there any performance gains (other than a deeper growl) since the stock intake is already so efficient?

Be careful with replacement parts

ThunderDent had a bad experience, a lot of problems:

I have read that now APR includes some kind of bracket to properly fit the system on the 2.0T. I believe the issue was the cai intake that did not fit properly onto the car intake and because of that the cai was loose.

I have a question: does this cai system makes the engine sound deeper? you know a louder growl.

Would you mind to share a quick video of the sound on your Q?

Thanks!!
