We have a Tahoe now...2001. We really cant afford to buy anything right this second...gonna have to hold onto the Tahoe for another 2 if possible. It has 102K miles...and stuff is starting to go wrong with it...not to mention the leather seats tearing and cracking on the drivers side. Ugh.

The back seat is UNUSEABLE ! 15mpg at most for combined city/hwy driving, maybe 16-17 on hwy. Does not feel like your nomal Audi, the Q5 does.

The Tahoe is huge compared to the Q5.
Sorry to hear that things are going in the Tahoe. Usually they're pretty good vehicles up to 150K or so. Are the miles mostly urban?
Hey, don't feel bad about the seat covers, our 2001 A4 pleather has cracked and the car has only 95K. By far, this A4 has been one large disappointment. I've never had more problems with an Audi and I've owned 6 since 1984 and AoA has been useless. Makes one think about buying a Lexus just to get a better quality car and better service from both the dealer network and the manufacturer.
Maybe the Ford Flex for your wife's next car? My boss just bought one for his wife and she loves it. She came our of a Ford Freestyle, which she loved, except for the looks. She said she'd only seen grandparent and old ladies driving them. She just turned 30.
