10 weeks in southern Ontario if you go to the right dealer. My dealer altered mine on the production line. The other chuckleheads I was dealing with wanted to place an order from scratch which would have taken 16 weeks or more.

I will be the stick in the mud. You probably will not have an issue because you won't have as unpopular of a configuration as I purchased.
My '06 A4 was totaled by someone. I wanted a manual '09 A4 prestige to replace it. They did not have any manuals anywhere on lots so they had to order it. I placed the deposit and was told it would be two months because they had to built at Ingolstat. I called back a few weeks later and was told it was processng fine. Then I called again three weeks later and was told that it missed the cut off date and wasn't going to make the 09 delivery and I would have to get a '10 build. After a long wait and switching dealers I finally got a car from the port - not the exact configuration I ordered. Moral of my story is to get PROOF that it has been processed. The dealer pointed to Audi and vice versa. No idea who to blame but I will be leery to do it again and have expectations of a good experience. You are dealing with car sales people to get to your wonderful Audi in the end....
SO - DO A GERMAN DELIVERY AND LET ME KNOW HOW AWESOME IT IS - I would go for the plant tour alone
