Alright here it goes... I know that previously I had asked about moonlight blue. I've come to a final decision that I will get a 2016/2017 SQ5 prior to the new re-design coming out.

I am now torn between getting the Daytona Grey or Mythos Black. Interior would be the black with diamond gray stitching black leather seating. I would get the vehicle with the black optics package. My past/current vehicles have been all black so partly I'm thinking it's time for a change.

I realize that colour comes down to a personal preference. My question would be in your own personal opinion which of the two colour do you thing would be the better choice?

I have brilliant black and it shows everything. If you get black get something with metallic paint.

I had Daytona Gray on our Q7 and now our Q5 but if I had the option to do it all over again I would go with Lava Gray. In between Daytona Gray and Black and looks amazing in real life. Pictures don't do it justice. If that's not your style then definitely Daytona Gray.

Lava or Daytona gray for sure. And I have a Mythos Black.

Consider Lava Gray. That is what I have in my SQ5 with HGB. Sometimes it looks almost black (overcast skies in winter). Other times it looks closer to Daytona Gray (bright sunlight). Best of both worlds??

I'll refrain from commenting on Lava Grey or colors other than the OP's current internal debate: Daytona Grey or Mythos Black. I love the Daytona Grey, which is why I bought one. I also think that black looks great when sparkling clean, but I hate it when it is not clean. Living in New England, I knew the dirt and road sand and salt would drive me nuts with Mythos Black, so Daytona Grey was a great solution.

I also think the Daytona grey exterior would looks sharp with the grey interior stitching on the black leather.
