Ha! I was in Karlsruhe Audi only last month taking a look at an RS6 Avant to ship to Chile. Anyways, that Daytona Gray does look very nice

If you are going to be washing your car frequently, go for black. If you are lazy like me, go for gray

All in all, I think metallic black looks better when clean. Daytona Gray was made for Vancouver.

Probably not a fair question as Daytona is my all time favorite Audi color. Had it been available in '14 on the SQ5, I would have gotten it. That said, I've found Phantom black to be very high on my personal list. Really like the way it shines when clean and how it has a different look with conditions.

So while I would personally take Daytona first, I still think Phantom looks better when it's clean.

I think the OP has already made his choice, but if not, I would go for Daytona Gray in a heartbeat. My '11 S5 Cab was Daytona Gray and in the sunlight it was stunning. Magenta and green specks shined!

I feel like I've been all over the place to get to this point. At one point I was seriously considering the Moonlight. I was nearly set on Mythos Black. And then I saw Daytona Grey in person on a S4 and figured it might be time for a change. Like I said I've always had black and I really like the blacked out look, but I also like the two-tone contrast.

Long story short I'm going to be ordering it in Daytona Grey! Thanks everyone for your input. I'm now set on the vehicle... now the waiting game for the 2017s. Hopefully they will be ready to be ordered soon so that I can get one as soon as possible. Just out of curiosity if I get one of the first 2017s how soon do you think I would get it on the west coast of Vancouver? I would imagine that they will start building these late May / early June.

Thanks everyone!

Sorry, can't answer your delivery question, but you made the right choice going with Daytona Grey!

Great choice on the Daytona.

I had the same debate when I traded my Phantom '13 3.0T on a Daytona '15 3.0T. I liked the Phantom a lot but didn't care for the Mythos because it seemed to have much less metallic fleck, so I went with the Daytona. No regrets on the Daytona at all.

Good luck with your SQ5!

Btw, there's this calendar... but it says the 2017s are ready for order come 4/11/2016, which has come and gone.

LeasePlan - 2016 Order Cut Off and 2017 Start Up Dates

Don't know if it helps or generates frustration.

It helps thanks! I think at this point you can place orders but won't have the build ready yet. You wouldn't happen to know if let's say I place my order in April how soon I would recieve it? I imagine there are some members here that ordered the 2016 last year around this time of the year?
