But did ya look at the very top of your Q5's glovebox ?
Mine has netting that the ipod touch slips into to stop it from sliding around !

Also, did your Q5 come with a Q5 branded pen and pad already in the glovebox?

I did find the netting for the ipod, but was wondering what goes in that space on the door of the glove, a pen and pad? Did yours come with it?

Nothing came on mine, but it was on the lot for three days and we had to wait in line to test drive it and buy it...

Someone had posted a pick of their glove box and had a Q5 pen in it

so guess mine got "legs" !

No pen and pad with mine. We did get an Audi branded glass water bottle though.

guess I was so entranced by the a/c vent in there, I never bent down and looked up

Review of your pic brings up another thing I have to ask my salesman about... Is that a spare key in the holder on the right ?

If I recall, he gave my wife a plastic looking key, but nothing that sits there....

That plastic key is the valet key ... there is a plastic 'key' that fits inside the bigger plastic 'fob'. There is another post on this forum that we keep the plastic fob part in the car but have removed the key inside as it does start the car - wonderful for a knowing thief. If you have a key-less system this plastic fob with key inside will only start the car by being inserted in the key slot on the dash or open the Q with the key in the door slot - it does NOT allow use the key-less features.

BUT there is a vent to add cold air (when running the AC) into the glovebox to keep a drink or something cold?!?!?

Did you know #3...
the center console/elbow pad will 'lock' into place at a ~1" opening (and also a ~2" I think it is) so if you plug anything into the power port inside seeing there is not a notch for a cord to hang out, they do this so you don't crush the cord?

Good reminder... had to figure that out quickly as the wife's 4g Thunderbolt cell phone GOES through her battery quickly as she stays on the phone (but refuses to use bluetooth on car )

oh, and the 2011 center armrest as FOUR detents to stop it at different heights for those height challenged of us !

The center armrest also slides forward...found this one out by accident when leaning on it...
