Been lurking around here for awhile. Just picked up my Meteor Gray Prestige last week. Before this, I had an A6, and I'm trying to figure something out. When I got my A6, I was really annoyed by the fact that the volume in the MMI would reset to a specific level every time I turned it off and back on. I'm pretty sure I was able to find something in the A6 manual about how to disable that feature, 'cause it was definitely off when I traded in the car. However, with the new Q5, I'm back to having the volume reset itself every time I turn the car off and on again - but I can't find anything in the manual about how to disable this "feature." I'm pretty sure there was some key combination I pressed on the old (2007) A6 MMI when turning it on to fix this, but I can't remember (and I no longer have the manual).

Anyone have any thoughts about how to stop this from happening? The only thing the MMI manual says is that the volume reset "happens," but it doesn't tell you how to change it at all.
