I had a Lexus RX before I got my Q5 2.0 and I thought the same thing as you do. The Lexus seats were great but after a little time in the Q5 I find the seats just as comfortable. I have the standard seats. Maybe break-in or just me getting used to them. My wife has a 2016 A4 and I still can't get used to those seats...
