Do U.S. delivery Q5's come w/ first aid kit & warning triangle? Or, are those spaces empty unless you buy them?

The Euro delivered U.S. spec. Q5 has them, but I had some sense Audi had made that an add on accessory option/extra cost for U.S. delivered Q5's. I know they are required in Germany for road travel.

My 2013 Did not, but I believe you are correct I think I saw it was an extra option you could pay for, I obviously didn't.

My 2012 Q did not, but recently had it in for service and the loaner 2013 A4 had them in the trunk.

Did they ship the vehicle through to the U.S. and the first aid kit and warning triangle stay in, or did they strip them back out again?

Audi Euro delivery made no mention of this, other than they showed us where the items are. They were clear the temp. Garmin Nav. had to be returned of course.

My 2013 Hybrid Q5 did not. I just took them from my 2002 A6 that I was trading in.

My 2013 Q5 2.0 has the First Aid kit. Haven't seen a triangle that I can remember.

No kit in the Q 5 but our 2 previous RX's had them. I have both of them in the Q right now.
1st Aid is the same all over the world.

We took ED in 2011 and they left the kits you are referring to in the car. The triangles sit in the narrow, horizontal compartment in the lift gate, the vests and first aid kit are by the spare tire.

Sounds like ED travelers get a free $45 first aid kit. SCORE!!!
