Ok, love my Q5 but the DRL are out again! Been to my service department for a few other minor things, but am hoping this is not indicative of future electrical issues. I am becoming waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too familiar with the Service Department;>).
Anyhow, hopefully my next visits will be for scheduled maintenance only.

when one DRL was out the delaer replaced BOTH modules-hope no more DRL out message. The emergency parking brake light can be triggered by malfunctioning of seat sensor in rear seats -thats what I was told by the service advisor when had same parking brake light ...

my driver side DRL was out few week ago. They changed both side module but I found passenger side DRL is yellowish. It is very obvious when you park in your gargage or face a wall. They did take a look but still cannot find any problem to cause. I set up another appointment and they are trying to switch another DRL to see how does it work? Does anyboby has similar situation?

Bob - are you saying it happened again on the same side?
I had my right one go out. after it was replaced, I noticed that the LED lights came on and turn off at slightly different times. then (luckily!) a week later, the left one went out. Then that was replaced as well.
With both replaced, the now work (knock on wood) and turn on/off simultaneously (didn't have any color issues).
Hope it gets fixed!

Biggest concern for me is that this doesn't indicate continuing electrical problems in the future.

I thought of this thread yesterday evening while watching my wife turn into the drive and noticed she had a DRL out. Then the DRL turned back on when her directional signal canceled out. Is the DRL supposed to turn off (on that side) when the blinker is on? Looks a bit weird but maybe it's better for visibility?
