My wife is very distraught about the amount of brake dust on the front wheels of her new Q5. I had same problem with TT I use to have and put Green Stuff pads on it and was much better. I recently put Akebono on my Jag XK8 and have zero dust now. My question is are the brakes on the Q5 totally new or are they the same as previous car like A4/A6 etc? I doubt any manufacturer has Q5 listed yet. I'm sure it would void warrenty on discs, etc but it is worth it to her to have clean wheels. The brake feel was a little different with my other cars but you get use to it very quickly.
