I don't know the exact chemistry composition of T6538. According to the production specification, it is a high alkaline detergent dispersant which can dissolve carbon deposits in engine piston rings and disperse engine oil sludge. At the mean time, it can reduce engine noise and wear.
For severe carbon deposit in piston rings, I think only PEA in fuel is not enough.

I know different PCV can lead to different crank case negative pressure. What should be the normal crank case negative pressure?
For my case, the negative pressure is only 67 mbar for the newly changed PCV.

Part number is: 06K103495BS

Adapt to 3rd gen EA888 2.0 T

Crankcase pressure

You are using a manometer, I can see you have knowledge and understanding. I applaud you for your professionalism and welcome you.

It is possible for your region in Beijing it is different. I can tell you that for my 2014 2.0T in the USA the latest PCV part I installed is 06H-103-495-AK and when it is new I pull down 34.82" of H20 which is 86.646088 mbar.

Possibly you had a bad PCV. I suggest to replace it every 40-50K miles as a maintenance item. Proper crankcase vacuum is important to the health of your engine.

I don't think my new PCV is bad because my oil consumption is as low as a new car now.
I will take your advice to replace PCV regularly, maybe every 100K kilometers.

I have a 2014 Q5. My high oil consumption started at 60,000 miles. I was eventually adding a quart of oil every 400-500 miles. The dealer did an oil consumption test and submitted the results to Audi. This is a chronic problem with many Q5's with the 2.0 L engine mainly due to faulty design in the pistons and O rings. A class action lawsuit was settled recently in favor of the owners. Audi covered 80% of the repair of replacing the pistons and O rings and it fixed the problem. My Q5 runs great now. You can google class action lawsuits on this issue and they are listed all over the the country.

Part of the problem is Audi's overly long recommended oil change interval. Do you mind sharing how often you were changing the oil and what oil you were using ?

thank for this information, I already solve oil excessive consumption issue by change the PCV and using oil additive T6538.
Currently no need to change the rings of pistons.

I found an interesting video on a shop in Europe that does engine rebuilds of the EA888 Gen2 engines with high oil consumption. It sounds like they have a thriving business and it appears they do a very thorough job and complete the rebuild with the Gen3 pistons. I wonder if there are any similar shops in North America?

TSI and TFSI engine overhaul (youtube.com)
This video illustrates what Audi AG and VW AG should be doing for the owners of their 2.0 TFSI engines thru MY 2015, especially for such expensive vehicles.
