Which Exterior Color is best

I've got Ibis white on order...because all I have seen are black and silver Q5's. I LOVE the cinnamon interior, but for me it made the car feel too small...but I will forever have interior color envy on that one. I would TOTALLY go for glacier white...it will be different enough to look a little more edgy I think for 2012.

Not sure about it being available in Canada, I would guess so but... Anyway it is available in the US for MY 2012. A handful of colors were updated last week when pricing, etc was released. I agree with you it is an awesome color. For me I never thought I would have wanted a white Q5 but I do now! Here is a comparison of the 2 whites next to each other... https://forums.audiworld.com/attachm...1&d=1308432510

Its Black, white, Quartz Grey, Meteor Grey, Deep Sea Blue, Silver, Lava Grey, Teak, Amethyst Grey and Daytona Greythen Stratos Blue and Aquarell Green.
Even adding all the greys together they still dont amount to the number of blacks.
Anyway everyone who ever posted their colour is recorded in the spreadsheet and the totals are on the "Random stats" page

I used to be an interior designer for US Navy Ships, so I've spent 25+ years playing with color combinations. Like I said earlier, we had a loaner for a week that was the Ibis White with the cinnamon leather interior, with the walnut wood trim pieces. On saturday we ordered a Q5, Monsoon Gray with Cinnamon leather insides. The Prestige package.
I have 4 other cars, 2 silver (2005 Mustang GT, and 2000 Audi TT) and 2 white (1986 Mustang SVO and 2008 Lincoln MKX). Resectively red, black, grey, and black leather interiors. I like silver and white cars. (the Lincoln is going as trade. I love that car.)
I find black insides to be a little "hot" and kind of boring. But that is just my opinion. Sometimes, in limited light it's hard to find buttons and switches on dash and console. That Q5 Audi white is a really WHITEand beautiful. White exterior tends to show water splashes and rain quicker than other light colors. I also prefer some color on the inside, so we went with cinnamon interior and walnut (I thought that light color wood (ash?) looked nice too but I don't see it on 2012 paperwork). I'd stay away from lighter tan LEATHER seats, especially if you wear blue jeans. Ask me why I know this.
The bottom line? Go to a dealer and spend lots of time sitting in the cars to see what color YOU like. It shouldn't matter what model you sit in, the colors and combinations shoud be similar. Make this buying a $50,000 car a project. It is certainly not like buying a suit or a custom motorcycle.
Have fun, and Good Luck.

I have ice silve w/black int. I like it a lot and get compliments all the time. I have not seen a single Q5 in silver on the road over here. There are quite of few but so far I have only seen white, black, teak, and blue.

Same here. Mine is the only silver one I've seen! The few we have around here are mainly black and white...one quartz grey.
