Drive in NYC, we just leave it in the door pocket or glove box. Placing it on the center dashboard as you approach the toll (above the MMI) works fine for getting through tolls. Only downside, you have to grab it before hard acceleration out of a toll plaza or it slides off.

Agree 100%. I'm in NE NJ and NYC all the time and the savings in time and convenience is incredible. It's to the mirror's right and almost out of sight from where I'm sitting. Wouldn't be without it.

Like many others here, I have mine attached by velcro strips in front of the rearview mirror on the right so I don't see it at all when driving. One thing to consider is which EZ-Pass to get. I originally got mine from NJ and dropped them after they started charging $1 monthly maintenance fee. Not a lot of money, but still. Not sure if they still do that anymore. Got the NY one which didn't have any extra fees and have been using it ever since. I live in MA now but never got Fast Lane (MA's version) because they only offered discounts on the Mass Pike, not in NY. Mass Pike discounts are maybe 25 cents and I use it maybe once a month. The NY EZ-Pass has discounts on NY and NJ tolls. Since a lot of my family and friends are still in NY and NJ, I save a ton of money when I visit.
