So for 2014 we have the following from dark to light:

Brilliant black
Phantom black pearl
Lava Grey
Daytona grey (only with S-line)
Monsoon grey
....

What do you all like?

Daytona!!!' 100%. My S5 is quartz.

my favorite is daytona grey, followed closely by suzuka grey.

I also liked meteor grey from the earlier model year Q5's but not as much as the above.

Favorite color only (not taking into account dark trim like the s-line plus would have):

Daytona Gray
Phantom Black

If you throw the S-Line plus into the equation I would have to think more as I currently believe it looks best on a lighter color (like monsoon).

Lava Gray has mostly brownish undertones and is a little darker than I would have liked, but I was not willingly to pay the extra charge for custom Daytona Gray. I would have gone with Daytona if it had been available at no extra cost.

We got our 2013 q5 3.0 in Daytona Grey and I absolutely love the color. Our prior car was black and neither one of us could handle another black car. (although i haven't seen the phantom black up close but I imagine it is beautiful)
