Default Flat Bottom S line Steering Wheel

Hi All, saw this on ebay and wondering if:

Will this wheel fit the Q?
Will I be able to VagCom it to use the DSG paddles?
What other parts might be required for the install?

Appreciate any feedback....

It should work after VAG-COM coding but for that kind of money I'd hold out for a TT-RS wheel. The TTRS wheel is basically the same but is MUCH thicker and better sculpted.

I second that.

Here is a install of a flat bottom wheel install that may help (but no paddles): https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int73.shtml

Is VAG-COM not needed for the q5? Might need to look for a wheel without paddles

I just bought this one from Alex at Europrice. It is the S-Line facelift steering wheel, and as far as I know you could do paddles or no paddles (as long as you have a tiptronic tranny.

I got the one without honestly, because I like to grip the wheel where the paddles are and I like the look the wheel without them.

This wheel is super thick and cut way back on the center grip sections.

Instead of the silver wrappings tho there is gloss black, which looks really nice.

It is suppose to work plug-and-play, but I haven't had it installed yet.

Do you mind giving out the price you paid for it? Did it include the airbag also? I might see if I can get one just have to make sure it has the silver stitching on the surround to match my interior.

You can get it with or without the silver (actually a titanium grey) stitching, with or without paddles, and the airbag with or without the chrome ring I think.

The airbag was separate. (edit: the airbag comes as a package with it)

The S4 steering wheel has the double-silver stitching but only comes in all smooth leather. It looks sweet tho too.

Rob, I'll PM you the prices I paid -- I need to look it up to be sure. I don't want to quote prices on the board. I'll let Alex do that for his own business. He is so easy to work with and will take care of you and make sure you get everything you need and what you get will fit. I want to promote him as a satisfied customer if I can, but I'll let him quote his own prices for everyone.

E-mail him to get one of your very own!

contact@europrice.us

I'm just hoping it's not forever until I get mine installed!!

Aren't there different buttons on this facelifted S-line wheel compared to say model year 2011 cars????

Mine Q5 a MY 2011. The one button that is different is a button labeled "iNAV" . I havent gotten it installed yet, but have been told the wheel works plug & play from Europrice. Not sure if that button will work, or if it needs VAG'd. I'm going to have it installed at the dealer.

I'm not sure if that button just brings up your map or what it does.
Honestly, all you need to do is hit the "voice" button and say "map" and it will take you there.

If anyone knows what this button does please do chime in.
