Default Fule System Treatment / Injector Cleaner

So I just had my 25k maintenance recently and changed the break pads on my 2011 P+ 2.0T.

I just wonder should I use fule system treatment / injector cleaner anytime soon?

I would think that if this was safe and truly effective, Audi would do it as part of the maintenance service? Check with them first if your car is still under warrantee or a service plan.

While under warrantee & maintenance plan I put nothing in the engine other than specified oil and nothing in the tank than premium fuel. These high tech engines with multiple sensors, catalytic convertor etc might not take to well to off the shelf additives.

My late best friend worked for Champion Audi Motorsports in Pompano Beach, Florida back in the R8/R10 days as their composite fabricator for the Lemans racers and he told me that Audi (then) only recommended Chevron Techron Plus as the cleaner and for maintenence for fuel systems. I know things are a lot different 10 years later, but it's good history. I have some in the garage.

He put his engine back together and dumped in 1 bottle of the above mentioned additive and drove the car for approx. 1 month. I have seen it come up on multiple TSB's as well. Part #G-001-770-A2 $6.94 in stock.

Does that stuff have a name? Or is it just a part at Audi of Alexandria. I'll check with Audi Silver Spring.

So the answer is yes with the G-001-770-A2? I do have Care Plus for my Q5 and I don't want to mess it up.

I'm going to call my dealer tomorrow and ask them about that.

Also if I am right I need two cans per fill up?
