I'm trying to find replacement bulbs for my 2012 Q5. All the websites I check tell me the D3S bulbs are not compatible with my car. The only bulb they all say is "Philips D3S Standard" will either of these bulbs work, I know they are cheap and will probably burn out quicker then the Philips bulbs.

Philips. At $80 a piece I can see why you might not want to buy them.
Allegedly Philips, although I wouldn't bet on it. More like $80 for two.
Sylvania, closer to $90 each.
There's a lot of margin and profit, and counterfeit junk, in bulbs and HIDs. I'd stick to something with a Prime return guarantee, if I wasn't sure it was genuine to begin with. The second link starts by saying it is "JDM" and that's meaningless, there's no such entity. Japanese Domestic Market, Japan Densu Motors...all sorts of creative ways to make it sound like some kind of "genuine" goods, usually from a seller who is just selling cheap product, from what I've seen.
And the only way you'll know whether you've gotten junk instead of a bargain, is after you do the install and try to figure out if the light really is as good. I'd just try to shop around for a real brand name, from a legitimate source. Amazon has a problem with counterfeit being "binned" in with the real thing and not being able to keep them apart.
I'd just hate to replace my HID capsules, and then have to undo the job and redo the job all over again, because I'd gotten bad replacements. But that's just me.
