Default Heat Seater Fix?

So yesterday I was driving the Q5 stuck in bad traffic, an accident caused the road to shut down for 2 hours. I had my engine off and i thought we were going to move, i wanted to warm up the inside of the vehicle. I already had my seat heaters on 6 which is warm and decent. I put my HVAC heat to "HI" (85+) I noticed my seat heaters got VERY hot, much hotter than they do normally. Try it out guys, maybe thats what you need to do. My buddy who has an RX-8 and a QX4 was in with me and was shocked at how hot they got! Try it out for all of you heated seat complainers!

Also, might i add i love driving the Q5 =)

Mine get plenty hot (very hot in fact) just not on the seat back. They only get hot on the seat bottom.

So whats the solution? to shut off the car and sit in your garage and feel how hot the heated seats are?

har har very funny. i love how sarcastic forums are. its like the hidden culture of forums, sarcasm!

if you have your heated seats on level 6 and turn the temperature dial for the cabin to "HI" it should make a difference!

Who wants to drive the car with the interior getting really hot just so the bun warmers work the way they should? I much prefer to keep the cabin cool but drive with the seat heaters set to max.
Audi made a huge mistake by changing the way the bun warmers work on the '10s. The seat heaters in my S4 are totally useless.

+1

I know there are a whole lot of 09' owners who come on here and say....."mine work just fine", but the heated seats in my 10' really underperform. They do not get hot enough for my liking on 6 setting.
