how to displace digital speedometer
Our q5 currently is at the dealer getting the brakes fixed and i noticed the loaner car we have has a digital speedometer on the second screen in the instrument cluster. I have looked through every setting on ours and can't figure out how to get it. is this just on the 2.0's? thats what the dealer said.

That's an excellent pictorial site for the new Q owner !!!
Should be distributed with each new Q
Asked the wife to 'play' with it when we first got the Q....

Thanks... This was driving me crazy. The regular speedometer is a classic "form over function". The entire normal driving range is in a small area from about 6 to 9:30... Most of the dial is from 80-180. I know they have the audobahn in Germany... but we don't here.. so it is very hard to tell one's speed.
I am thrilled I can get around this with the digital speedometer (even though a regular dial is usually better)

I really dislike the analog gauge for day to day city driving.
I drive a lot on military posts where speed limits are frequently 25-30 and the MPs have nothing to do but nail you for going 31 - it's a real pain.
So glad I found the digital readout!

Very cool, thanks. Love the digital speedo, but need to check through what other options may be in there now.
