Default How do I lower the volume of incoming telephone cal ring tone?

Looked in the Audi Symphony stereo manual and it covers all manner of bluetooth connectivity and phone usage but I can't find (or missed) how to lower the volume of the ring tone that plays over the car stereo during an incoming call. The ring sound is so loud it is painful and shocking to the point of being unsafe while driving. Please help me find the solution.

If you pick Tel and Setup you should see ring tone volume and you can adjust it from there.

Tel + Set-Up does not offer a Ring Tone Volume on my 2009 Q5. Any other suggestions?

I found this http://www.go-audi.com/13840-audi-q5...e-setting.html
Look at the last post and see if it is true.
There may be a way with VAG-COM. Guess I will find out in a few months if I order my car this week.

Try the changing of the volume level during the call

When the phone is ringing you can adjust the ring volume using the control on the steering wheel. It will then store the sound level. This also works for the voice volume during the actual call, and additionally for the volume of the navigation voice prompts. You just have to make sure to adjust the volume control during the sound that you wish to adjust.

I have the same problem before. In the "Sound" menu. there is a option said "GALA" or something like that. this is the volume of the incoming ring tone. Enjoy and take care!
