I think the ships do get unloaded at San Diego for West Coast deliveries... I guess Themis Leader is the next ship that is due to arrive in San Diego on 9/30. I believe it's one of the NYK ship and there is no way to track the ship using VIN.

Dealer put Sept. 20th on contract. Ordered on Sept. 9th. Would tell us where it is only that it was in transit which to us meant it is on the boat yet.
I have a Vin # so how can we check on it??

I think the VIN only helps if your car is being shipped on a W&W vessel. Put you VIN in the Cargo ID field (https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...ckSearchResult) and see if you get any information.

If it doesn't show up, you are probably on another carrier. I was on a Mitsui ship. There search function is here: http://www.molroro.com/MOLVesselSchedule.aspx (but no VIN search)

Only way you will find out is if you get the boats name or possibly the day it will arrive at your port. You can then do some reverse searching and try to find it that way.

Shows two ships from VD (Istra Ace and Themis Leader) reaching San Diego port on 9/17 and 9/30... There's no dedicated Audi ship though... Perhaps, VWs and Audis ship together

I ordered mine July 2nd and it just got to the port in GA yesterday

The dealer told me they have a delivery date on the dealership (Pembroke Pines FL) for Sept 26 but he expects it to be there before that, will let me know.

I tried tracking with VIN through W&W with no luck

I also asked the dealer for Vessel information and he said system did not provide that info, just dates.

I sure hope it gets in by the weekend on the 24th, otherwise I may just have to call in sick

Glad to see another South Florida Q5 hit the street! Congrats.

When you find someone with a VAG cable...let me know so I can get some stuff done. Been trying to find someone in the area.

I was told just today that my ordered Q5 would take 216 days to get from date of order. Can anyone tell me if this is true?
