I got my 2012 Q5 VIN #, what can I do with it?
Hey guys, my dealer contacted me and told me my 2012 Q5 is ready to ship and he gave me the VIN number. Is there a way I can track my car kinda like how you track UPS packages?

Actually there is, if you know when your Audi is scheduled to arrive in port (dealer insight) and if someone can provide the current Audi maritime shipping schedule (fellow member insight) and (you) thereby figure out which ship it's on.

Right Huey, But....
You won't need the VIN, as I haven't seen a way for it to be recognized by the shipper's site. You just need to know the loading or "Roll On" date, and that should (I repeat should) tell you which ship it's on. The receiving port and the approximate port arrival date will also help. If the loading date happens to fall in between two closely spaced departures, your car might catch the earlier of the two (my experience).
