Interior question

what is the area next to the interior B pillar that you can indent in. Is it a coat hook? It doesn't look like a coat hook. Ideas?

If you take a look at the Audi accessories site you'll find that some of their accessories actually hook into those spots on either side. It's a pretty nifty way to integrate them I think.
