Default iPhone 3G problem

I've been experiencing problems with the bluetooth connection. I can make calls no problem, but when I receive them, I hit "answer", the phone seems to have picked up the call, but no sound or no connection. People often redial and at the second or third try it works.

I have deleted the iPhone from the MMI and unliked the MMi from the iPhone. I have re-linked it several times and it still does the same annoying thing.

Anyone experiencing the same, or better yet has solved this issue?

thanks for your input.

I had the same problem a few times. Now I let the phone ring at least twice before I pick it up and it seems to be working. I don't know if it's just a coincidence or a real solution.

I had the same exact issue. I deleted the pairing both on the phone and within the MMI. Repaired the phone again and the issue has yet to come back. It has been a few months... This happened to me after i upgraded the firmware on the iPhone. Did you start having this recently, perhaps upgraded to iPhone OS 3.1?

yes, it has happened after the 3.1 firmware. I think you're on to something...I hope Apple notices.

I was having a lot of problems with accepting calls before updating to 3.1. I thought the update had fixed the issue, but have had a few more lost calls in the last week.

I will try re-pairing.

With my wife's iPhone we completely turned off the phone and restarted it. All calls connecting with sound both ways since then.
