Aussies have to wait two months sea time for their ship to come in (after stops in Africa), so no complaints here for a 3-week (at most) voyage to US.

Were your dealers able to tell you what port it left from and when? Do they have access to that information?

We need a build date first, then we'll figure out which ship. I was told delivery on or about 30 days after VIN is known. We're at Order +14 days, so we may have another couple of weeks before VIN is available.

The 30-day window sounds right, given that sailing schedules from Bremerhaven to Brunswick, GA range between 16 and 19 days, and figure another week at port before the carrier truck starts rolling. Brunswick is about 7-8 hrs from B'ham, give or take, but it would be best if they could bypass Hotlanta and take the 82/520/280 route through Waycross and Columbus, GA.

My dealer hasn't been very proactive about giving details and my actual salesperson left the dealer, so my direct contact is gone. I went in and talked to the manager briefly and got a print out of my VIN# and saw that my car had indeed been built and inspected. They didn't confirm any shipping info though, so I am just using hopeful deduction to put it on a ship currently sailing in the Atlantic. It fits all the time frames they gave me when I ordered, so all I can do is hope. If it's not this one it's going to be 2+ weeks later..........

This morning, the "Indy 2" and Otello are in Bremerhaven, with departures scheduled for today and tomorrow, respectively.

Courage is about 100 mi off Chincoteague Island heading for Baltimore today.

DW received an e-mail from our dealer today. He says our Q will be shipped "at the end of the month", and will be "here" the first week in July. Don't have more details than that, so will see if he can provide some additional info. This timetable is consistent with what he expected though.

So...that sounds like we're down to one of four itineraries...
