Zaino, LeatherMaster (Audi OEM), or Griot's Garage leather cleaner/conditioner work great in removing this type of fabric-leather stain. Did so just this weekend on my wife's car (Lexus beige seats).

Yep, that's the deal. You need the foaming cleanser and that gets followed up by the Protection Creme. Easy to use, water-based. I see a starter kit over at Amazon for ~ $35. Products are available directly from the USA importer (not known for good customer skills, etc.) and Top of The Line detailing supplies.

I'm having issues with my steering wheel. That gets dirtier than the seats in my car w/light grey interior. I'm having to clean it monthly to prevent it from getting darker.
