Just picked up my 2014 Q5
looks like one of the first around here. I ordered April 15th, the dealer didn't receive any other 2014's.
I'm coming off a 3.0 A4.
This is a Premium 2.0T base with Xenon, heated seats, no other options as I really didn't need any of that other stuff, car will be driven only 3-4K miles per year. The new 220 HP with the additional in-direct injector in the intake manifold seems not to have any noticeable turbo lag, steering was just fine(so far), A4'ish. There's no NAV. The driver information display is white, not red, not sure what is on 2013's. The Convenience Package is now standard equipment so maybe that has something to do with the white display. Came with Continental tires, so I very happy with that. Brake pedal is firm, just like the old A4, in fact, I'm quite comfortable as it feels close to the A4. It's a little bouncy on the interstate but my A4 was also the same when new and all settled down in a few thousand miles.

Many grats, Bob. Looks like you're the first on this board to get delivery.

My guess is that the added hp. was to add a little additional performance as well as part marketing. The 211 hp. looks a little weak on paper compared to other 2.0t engines from the competition.

Black on Black...
I really don't know if is faster off the line than the 2013, but it sure is fast to me, I had a very hard time keeping it below 85 mph on I81 all the way home. I find the 2.0T Q5 just as nible and quick as my 3.0 A4. I'm very pleased with the performance.

You're correct, that 220 hp point goes against a lot of other makes, but they did make changes to the engine as I stated above.

As I said I thought it was very quick. So must be even nicer wifh more hp.
Now I'm even more excited about the 14's.
