Now I'm even more excited about the 14's.
Best to compare a '13 to the '14. I would also guess if your drove 5, 2013's they would all peform a little differently, production variations. I'm sure everything will feel different to me 5K miles from now as things wear in....

Can you tell us what the window sticker states for MPG ?

I've yet to see any fuel mileage data for the new 2.0T.

For what it's worth, my non-nav 2013 has a white DID, I think the change from red to white on the DID and console happened with the facelift.

Anyway, congrats. If I recall, you cancelled your 2013 and changed to 2014. Enjoy!

I ordered a 2013 on April 15th, missed the cutoff date, dealer ordered a 2014. My gain but cost an additional $1400!

Very cool - congrats! Sounds like the included Convenience Pkg offsets/accounts for most of that $1400 increase - at least nice to know you get something for the increase (even if you didn't want it - better than nothing).

Sounds like you probably ended up in the mid $37k range - that area was what enticed me to look at the Q5 and I've since ended up with a well-optioned TDI far from where I started. I got sucked in...

Good to know on the white DIS - I recall looking at used Q5s online and realized the correlation with Nav. Good to know you get that without Nav now (apparently in '13) as that red display looks so dated (same/similar as my '00 A4 that I sold 12 years ago)

Enjoy it!

$1000 for Convenience, $400 for the year-to-year increase.

Yeah, the base is white, it's just that nav adds a couple of extra colors for some functions or other (4-color or 8-color or something like that). I've yet to find what specifically the "color DIS" consists of these days.

Default Actually the $400 was for the new 2.0T engine

New valve train control, turbo, cylinder head, extra indirect fuel injector to minimize turbo lag and increase response plus also wash the carbon buildup off the intake valves, etc. A nice improvement for $400.

New engine was "free", it was simply the year-to-year increase that you'd've had regardless of new engine (the 3.0T increased in price and it's the same as last year). So the new engine is an even better deal at $0.
