It was $138. for the programming. The key was extra. I have to look to see how much the key was. I needed another one
because they bury one n the dash for the remote start(aftermarket install)

Yup, same reason I'm looking for another one.

Store of locksmith near me open now to program key fobs properly by using latest equipment, techniques and tools to provide best and reliable services to the customers at a genuine cost than dealer.

Thanks, Tony, but the odds are the car not recognized me because evil pixies sabotaged BOTH of the key fobs are astronomical. This is not a locksmith job, the problem is in the car.

Purchasing an extra key fob is always a good idea. As for the cost of reprogramming, it's best to check with your local Audi dealer or a reputable car mechanic. They will be able to give you an accurate estimate. While dealers can do reprogramming, some independent auto locksmiths also have the proper equipment. Just make sure they have the right tools and experience. Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary skills to do this, but you can do it yourself. At Penn Foster get a career diploma in as little as 5 months. Good luck, and all the best.
