I doubt the warranty would cover it. all the GPS companies do this crap. Release a crappy product and then expect you to pay $100+ to buy software updates.

We have Navigation in our Acura and BMW - both company asking for $199.00 + Tax + S&H for their upgrades - and I don't think it worse it.

Might be worth it if I can finally enter the address for Foxwoods Casino. I can try to win back the $350 and then some at the blackjack tables. I had to attend a conference there a month ago and the town name isn't even in the NAV. When I got there, the NAV was showing my location as "Off-Road." I wonder if Atlantic City is in there...?

Were you going to Foxwoods or MGM? I'm going there next week. Will see if mine does the same thing. I love when it goes off road.

Foxwoods, but it doesn't matter because the town (I forget the name but it's on their website) they're in isn't in the NAV. I ended up using good old-fashioned printed directions. Let me know if you have the town name in your NAV. If not, put your NAV in map mode and watch yourself go "Off-Road" as soon as you enter the resort area.

Went to AC a month ago and it showed up on the map. This past weekend, we went to Cape May and that too was clearly on the map. When we were in some wooded area it did register as "off-road".

Off topic, going a 100 on the GSP is quite nice

I love our Q5, but the Audi NAV maps are the least useful of any car navigation system I've seen.
So many streets - even major ones - are unidentified on the screen. It's really a minimal system compared to others.

Maybe for $350.00 you get all that fixed. RIGHT!
