Default Leather Seats

I have beige seats and noticed this evening that the driver's seat appeared a bit darker than the passegner seat.

My jeans are turning the seats blue. My jeans aren't that new so I'm surprised by this.

Anyone else notice this?

I have a leather cleaning kit and the seats are good as new.

The Q is a month old, i dont want to clean the seats every
month or stop wearing jeans.

I notice this on the demo car. There were less than 100 kms on it and it was all blue already. re-enforced my decision to get black.

I drove a new Porsche Cayenne for 2 weeks with a beige interior and the seats were darkening in it also.

It's normal with jeans and some other pants. Happens to me too. Just an fyi, these seats clean very easily. Every time I get the car washed, I take a white rag with warm water and wipe them down with some pressure. They come clean very easy. Just an extra step you have to take with light interior. A friend of mine has a Range Rover and his seats are a mess. They don't clean nearly as easily.

FYI, this weekend my partner sat in sap and didn't know it and got sap on my seats. Hand sanitizer is the miracle worker. Took the sap right off the seat in seconds. It also gets sap out of clothes or anything else.

Say what? I had tan leather seats in my Lexus and after 27 months there's no color change at all. I would be caling my dealer or someone at Audi about this one. Hate to othink the leather is of such poor quality that this is the norm for them.

The die rubbing off of the seats has nothing to do with the quality of the leather
