Loaner car when service is done?

I've always been able to get a loaner from Audi. I had to wait a couple of weeks to bring it in for service but it was worth it to get an Audi loaner. I know it depends on the dealer but it seems if you are going for a higher end brand they should provide something. Lexus always gave us a Lexus loaner. I think it's a smart move on the dealers part as well. We had an RX for a few days and loved it so much that we traded in our MB ML for a GX. I can't even count the number of times my MB SLK was in the shop and I was never given a MB loaner. Three different dealers and they all used a rental agency to provide vehicles. They even gave me a dodge ram once.

My dealer will give a loaner if you schedule enough in advance to reserve one. However, I have only done this for warranty work. The one time it was in for normal maintenance my sales guy took me out to lunch and it was done when I got back. The only thing that kind of sucks is I get a KIA for a loaner. The dealership is a combined, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, and they have a KIA dealer next door. Not to happy with that, but from the sounds of it at least I get a car to drive. Can't imagine how the porsche customers feel though. I know if dropped off my 100K Panamera I wouldn't want to drive a KIA.
