I like it. I would have preferred just a sunroof over the pano roof, myself. Admittedly, the pano gives the interior a more "open" feeling, but I think it's a marketing thing since other CUV's have it.

One fella told me that Audi had been toying with the idea of using a self-darkening glass in that roof and the concept vehicle had it. Imagine the expense made it prohibitive....but I saw that Mercedes Benz is going to offer just that kind of glass on a few models with smaller sunroofs.

It's not a "sunroof delete" when you get the premium, since the premium does not come with the sunroof. On the premium, it's a $1,450 option to get it.

Nice looking car. I still feel like it's missing something without the LED's and the pano, but those are two things that made me interested in the car to begin with. Otherwise, enjoy in good health.

Thanks everyone, Well, it is still a bit early for me to form opinions but I know I will miss some of the premium plus features. So far:

Ipod intreface - I ordered it and got it (avail on premium)
Xenon lights - I have these on my A4 and would have liked them
Auto dimming/folding mirrors - don't care, won't miss
Auto dimming interior mirror - won't miss but I do like the compass, have it in my A4
Homelink - I ordered it and got it (avail on premium)
Heated seats - I ordered them and got them (avail on premium)
Memory function - I would have liked this, have it on my A4
Pano sunroof - I like the $1450 i saved and won't miss it.
Power tailgate - I would have liked it, I will miss this most.
Bluetooth - I ordered it and have it (avail on premium)
Stainless steel trunk edge and sills - I haven't noticed it.
$4,200 for premium plus - after options I did get I kept $2,750 which was nice.

Electrochromatic! I would love this on all my windows. Park the car and it goes opaque! Start it up and they are fully transparent. Ferrari had this on their superamerica. I'm waiting for it to trickle down.

That's only if you are selling. We kept our 02 ML320 for 9 years and 140K miles. The plan is the same for the Q5.

Ditto! We kept our ML for the same time period although less mileage. Plan also on keeping the Q5 for a long time...Don't have the pano roof either, who cares after that time period. The car is only worth what they sell for at the auto auction unless you sell the private party route.
